In it’s 9th year together, the quintet had a successful 9-date UK tour of their new album ‘Mind-Ear-Ladder’, that was released on the prestigious Fresh Sound New Talent label in Jan 2022. Over this time the band has evolved a very strong group sound and aesthetic drawing on the individual voices of all members of this stand out quintet that features Alex and Steve as well as parliamentary award winning pianist John Turville, and the wonderful Mick Coady on bass and Matt Fishwick on drums. The music has been described as very entertaining, stylish and nuanced modern jazz that will appeal equally to jazz aficionados and more mainstream audiences.
